OUR STORY

TIMES SQUARE

Times Square created a unique opportunity for our team to work with the architects and the sign designers from the ground up. It was in the 90s, the start of the modern age, and digital advertising was being implemented in every major city. Therefore, LED displays became a necessary part of this evolution in advertisement. The problem with these enormous displays was that they were essentially giant IT cabinets with a number of extra features to weather-proof them. Our founder, Bill Hall, saw this as an opportunity to create a new type of display that was more functional and less costly to build and maintain.

DEVELOPMENT

Our team developed a technology and implementation mechanism that vastly reduced the amount of steel used to create commercial-level LED displays without having them overheat. We did away with the cabinets and replaced them with aluminum backing. To service these cabinet-less displays, we created a chip that allowed for bidirectional communication, which in turn gave us the ability to take out and replace individual modules of the larger display without shutting off the entire thing; hot-swapping.

How is this advancement in LED display technology relevant to our residential ventures?

Removing the back cabinets and creating bidirectional communication made our displays easily accessible because they were more compact. It became significantly easier to change images, work on the unit, and arrange modules to fit a given space, instead of having to create a space to fit the display. Because the displays consist of smaller, detachable panels, we can make them almost any size our customers want.

REIMAGINING TV

From Times Square to home theaters, our displays are ready to be installed anywhere you’d like. We’re reimagining television as we know it. Our LED video walls are the future of home entertainment because they are built to integrate into your lifestyle.

One thing that sets us apart from our competitors is that we make a product that rivals the current technology, but at a fraction of the price from our competitors because we hold the patents for this technology. Our founder holds 70 patents on the LED technology, and another 35 patents on the module LED displays.
